Who We Are

Jay Thomas is a US Army Veteran and a Ball State University Graduate with a Master of Business Administration degree. Plus, he is a graduate of Concord Law School with an Executive Juris Doctor degree. He loves his horses and country living but has exceptional experience in business and real estate.

KAR Investments and Holdings has played a highly instrumental role in taking over businesses of all types and developing them into successful, sustainable, and highly profitable entities.

Our Real Estate Investment division invest in real estate with the potential of providing quality renovated properties as affordable housing and a good ROI.

  • Stadium Marathon/TNT Oil Corp, Muncie, Indiana — grew annual sales from $135,000 to $5.5 million in three years and increased monthly fuel gallons from 35,000 to 171,000.

  • TNT Stables located in Muncie Indiana - purchased 21-acre horse stable with indoor riding arena and 30 horse stalls. Renovated facility and leased to Ball State University equestrian team building equity and annual revenue of over $60,000.

  • Great Scotts Eatery, Indianapolis — increased annual sales from $360,000 to over $1,800,000 in four years.

  • Schooners Bar & Grill, Indianapolis, Indiana — assumed the lease and launched the business from startup to $2,500,000 in sales within three years.

  • The Boat House, Cicero, Indiana — took over a closed business, reopened it, and grew revenue to $1,800,000 in four years.
